My stump grinder is a self-propelled walk-beside style. It will go through as small as a 35" area.
It drives, and I walk beside it. It's bigger and much heavier than a riding lawn mower.

I need you to tell me where your stump is so I can make sure I can get to it safely.
So I need to know....
Is it in a parking strip? Front yard? Back yard?
If I need to go into a backyard to get to your stump, I need 35" to get through a fence opening or side yard .
Is it at the top of stairs? If so, how many do I need to go up?
Is it above a retaining wall? How high is the wall?
Is it up against a building or fence?
Is it in a rocky area?
How about wires, cables, water lines?
Talking about these things before I do your job saves me from having to use gas and resources driving for bids. This is one of the ways I have been able to keep my rates low over the years to pass these savings on to my customers .
