Utility Lines: Water, Sewer, Gas, Electric, Cable TV

There could be buried wires, cables, pipes, anywhere you plan to grind or dig in your yard, even going under the sidewalks, driveways etc.  Calling before you grind or dig ensures that any publicly owned underground lines will be marked so you can work around them safely.  Having the utility lines marked not only prevents accidental damage to the lines, but prevents property damage and personal injuries that could result from breaking a line.

Sprinkler Systems

Every yard that has a sprinkler system installed has a different underground pattern and differing depths in placement.

Sometimes  a professional installs them, and sometimes the property owner (or former property owner) has done it himself.

For this reason, most homeowners don't know or remember where the pipes run, how deep they are,  and usually do not have access to a schematic of the system.  Calling for an 811 locate of your utility lines does not help because the lines that 811 looks for are public utility lines for water, electric, gas, cable and sewer.

I will do my best to be careful of your sprinkler system, but  more than a few times over the years the homeowner and I have been surprised by their location when the water starts flowing.  Since I am not a plumber, I will not be able to assist you in fixing the plumbing issue much past directing you to shut off the water.

Due to unpredictable variables involving sprinkler systems,  I am not responsible for damages to your sprinkler system and all costs to repair your sprinkler system will be your responsibility.
